Liberal Animation est le premier album studio de NOFX. Le titre de cet album est une contrepèterie de Animal Liberation (Libération animale), comme cela sera fait plus tard pour l'album Punk in Drublic.

Par la suite, les NOFX prêcheront la tolérance sexuelle et raciale et critiqueront fortement la religion dans leurs chansons.
